Dear Community and HLL families...

2020 has been an unpredictable year for everyone.

In the beginning of the year, the board decided to be proactive with our tasks. In February, we sent all of our helmets to be reconditioned so that they were ready in plenty of time for the upcoming season. We then opened registration shortly afterwards. Then COVID19 happened and everything came to a pause, including registrations. We have since received our helmets back along with the bill. Part of the paid registration monies covers this expense.

This is one of several expenses incurred during the off-season that keeps HLL operating. While very hopeful, the uncertainty whether HLL will have a season has presented a potential shortfall in operating income. Registration fees that fund the operation of HLL have been set aside in order to be refund to those families who have already registered should the upcoming season be cancelled.

We say all of this to be as transparent as possible. This is why we are 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠!! Thank you to everyone who supported us at our recent BBQ chicken drive-thru. We appreciate the constant support. We will be having another chicken BBQ later in the summer as well as the Consumer Gift Card of $400 raffle to be drawn right before Labor Day. Again, this is so we can pay our monthly expenses and continue to operate until 2021.
